About Silent Threads
Silent Threads is a security plugin for WordPress sites. It scans for malware, blocks malicious requests with a firewall, protects the login page and checks common hardening settings.
How it works
The plugin runs on your own WordPress site. It checks in with our licensing service to activate your license, to receive updates, and to download signature and firewall-rule feeds. Every update and feed is signed with an Ed25519 key, and the plugin refuses anything whose signature doesn't verify. The security page explains the details.
What we do with data
The plugin doesn't send your posts, files or passwords. Sharing blocked attacker IPs with the network is opt-in and off by default. Our website analytics doesn't use cookies. The privacy policy lists everything we collect and how long we keep it.
Try it before you install
The free security checker looks at what anyone can see from outside your site: HTTPS, security headers and exposed files. It can't see inside your site; that's what the plugin is for.
